Have you participated in an it@foss initative (see below for an overview). Then you are cordially invited to join the new it@foss alumni group on the Alumniportal Germany. By doing so, you have access to FOSS-experts, world-wide events and training-initiatives, job offers from your region, tips and information about the German language as well as interesting news and a “Topic of the month”.

Instructions on how to join the it@foss alumni group on the Alumniportal Germany

1.Please go to http://www.alumniportal-deutschland.org/apd-english-version.html (by the way, the portal is strictly FOSS, its based on TYPO 3...)
2.On the right superior corner, please click on „Not registered yet?“
3.Please select between the options „Register PREMIUM“ (large form to be filled, but with more services) or „Register BASIC“
4.The system will send you the access data. After confirmation and first login you will be member of the „Alumni Portal Deutschland“!!!
5.After login, please click the following link: http://www.alumniportal-deutschland.org/community/pg/groups/85862/alumni-of-itfoss-promoting-free-software-in-asia/ or search for the term „it@foss“ in the search window on the left hand menu.
6.Then please request to be a member of the community „Alumni of it@foss -Promoting Free Software in Asia" (see button in the middle labeled "request membership").
7. You will be confirmed soon. By then you are a true alumnus of it@foss with all privileges such as regular updates on FOSS news, possibility to meet other FOSS experts etc.
